Dreams From My Father

I've been listening to President Obama's book about his family and heritage, Dreams of My Father. It's pretty remarkable. The richness of the people who shaped his life and the stories of his family really gives you a good understanding of how he became the person he is today, and where his belief systems formed.
I am listening to the audiobook rather than reading it because he is the voice telling the story. And no matter what your politics are there is no denying what a great speaker he is. So, I highly recommend it.
