The Treatment is one of my favorite podcasts. It is a interview show about influential films of the time, hosted by film critic Elvis Mitchell on KCRW (which btw has an iphone app!) Anyway, Elvis Mitchell is just such an intelligent interviewer. He not only brings about the most hidden concepts of a film but also holds the respect of his guest.
I think this is very evident in the Tarantino episode I just listened to about Inglourious Basterds. I thought this movie was absolutley incredible, but heart wrenching enough that one viewing would be good enough for a while. However, after listening to this interview I think I may need to sit through it in the theatre again to observe the musicality of the dialogue that I must have missed the first time around.
