Kate Bingaman Burt is an artist/assistant professor out of Portland. Her work is about her own consumerism. She draws, paints, photographs, and/or embroiders all of her purchases. Her book Obsessive Consumption: What Did You Buy Today is based on three years of her daily purchase drawings. I just love her quirky, stylized drawings.
