"In 2006, photographer Howard Schatz released a book called In Character: Actors Acting. He put himself in the director's chair, coming up with dramatic scenes that 100 actors of stage, screen and television would pretend to be a part of. He not only took these actors' portraits, he also interviewed them to ask them about their creative process."
