When you drive across the border into the United States from Vancouver, B.C., at Blaine (the main passageway), this is what you'll see. Seattle architects Annie Han and Daniel Mihalyo of Lead Pencil Studio created this empty billboard, framing only the sky as a commentary on this area that is packed with signs and advertisements. It is such a gorgeous solution to a very simple idea. You can also check out a slideshow of the house they renovated here. They did a superb job!
